I made this recipe last night and was reminded of this simple way to prepare asparagus. I probably make it once a week. This pairs nicely with grilled meats.
You will need: a bunch of asparagus or quantity needed, olive oil, 1/2 fresh lime, salt and pepper – that’s all! Try it, even if you think you don’t like asparagus.
Preheat broiler. Trim tough part of asparagus stalks. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Broil for about 5 minutes, checking frequently to avoid burning. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lime on top. Serve and enjoy. Please share your quick recipes with all of us.
